Convert text between common case styles, calculate detailed writing statistics, and compare revisions without uploading your content.

Transform, measure, and compare text

Text utilities help with the small editing tasks that appear in writing, programming, documentation, content publishing, and data cleanup. The tools in this collection update in the browser, so you can iterate without submitting a form or uploading a document.

Use the Case Converter when words need to follow a naming convention such as camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, Title Case, or uppercase. Structural formats normalize word boundaries and punctuation, while simple uppercase and lowercase transformations preserve more of the original text.

The Word and Character Counter measures sentences, paragraphs, lines, UTF-8 bytes, and estimated reading or speaking time in addition to basic counts. Text Diff compares two versions line by line and highlights additions and removals, which is useful for configuration, generated output, release notes, lists, and document revisions.
